Solutions

Four kinds of project. One way of working.

Whatever you're powering, we assess first and recommend second.

  1. Residential

Rooftop solar for family homes on tiled or concrete roofs, sized from your real bills.

  2. Commercial

Shops, offices, schools and small industry: systems planned around your working hours and daytime load.

  3. EV Charging

Chargers for homes and business car parks, on their own or alongside rooftop solar.

  4. Maintenance & support

Service visits that keep your system working well: checks, cleaning and a clear report of what we found.

Why Folia Power

What you can expect from us.

  1. Site assessment before any recommendation

We visit, check the roof, shade and wiring, and read your bills before suggesting anything. No sizing over the phone.

  2. One team, from planning to support

The people who plan your system install it, work through the KSEB connection with you, and answer when you call later.

  3. Plain-language communication

Options, trade-offs and paperwork explained in words that make sense.

How it works

Five steps. One team the whole way.

The people who first look at your roof are the same people who install it, connect it and pick up the phone later.

  1. Consultation

Bring your last few KSEB bills. We talk through how your home or business uses power, and what you want solar to do for it.

  2. Site assessment

We come to you. Tiled or concrete roof, shade from trees and neighbours, the state of your wiring: checked in person before we recommend anything.

  3. Proposal

A plain-language proposal: system size, equipment, how it's mounted for monsoon weather, and what happens next.

  4. Installation

Our team installs, tests and tidies up. You'll know who is on your roof, and when.

  5. Grid connection & support

We work through the KSEB connection with you. Then we stay your first call once the system is running.

Questions

Things people ask before going solar.

Something else on your mind? Call us.

Is my roof suitable for solar?

Most roofs can take solar, but shade, direction, structure and condition all matter. Clay-tiled, concrete and metal-sheet roofs each need a different mounting approach. We check all of this on site before recommending anything.

What happens during the site assessment?

We visit, look at the roof and any shade from trees or nearby buildings, check your electrical panel and earthing, and go through recent KSEB bills with you. Then we explain what we found, in plain words.

Do you help with KSEB and net metering?

Yes. We work through the grid-connection process with you and coordinate with KSEB, so you're not left with the paperwork alone.

On-grid or hybrid: which do I need?

On-grid systems work alongside the KSEB supply and suit most homes. Hybrid systems add batteries for backup during power cuts. We install on-grid and hybrid systems, not off-grid. We'll explain which fits you, and why.

Does solar still work in the monsoon?

Yes. Panels produce less on heavy, overcast days and more in clear weather, so we plan around a full Kerala year rather than one sunny afternoon. On a grid-connected system, the grid covers any shortfall.

How is the system fixed for heavy rain and wind?

It depends on your roof: hooks under clay tiles, anchored rails on concrete, clamps on metal sheet. We choose the method for your roof, explain it in the proposal, and show how the roof stays watertight.

What maintenance will it need?

Mostly keeping the panels clean and having the system checked from time to time. We show you what to look out for at handover and stay your point of contact afterwards.

Are there government subsidies for rooftop solar?

Central and state schemes may support home rooftop solar, but eligibility and process change over time. We'll tell you what currently applies to you during the consultation.
